Description
The wall running along the west side of the road, from the gates to Barrington Park to the entrance of Number 1, is a mid-19th century structure made of coursed squared and dressed limestone, primarily built as drystone. It features cast iron gates with ashlar piers, standing approximately 2.5 meters high with a flat coping. The wall curves along the roadside and includes a single 20th-century plank door leading to the garden of Number 60. The gates to Barrington consist of a pair of double barred iron gates, accompanied by a single-width gate on the right. Both gates are adorned with spear-headed decoration and wrought iron scrollwork at the top, and are flanked by ashlar piers that have raised panels on their sides and projecting cappings.
