Description
This is a portion of railings located along the west boundary of High Pavement, situated 10 metres west of Church Farm House. The railings were constructed in 1897 and are made of cast iron. They stand about 1 metre high and extend 10 metres in length. The design features a rood rail and ornamented uprights with pointed tops, along with "VR 1897" cast into the sides, commemorating Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. These railings are notable for their contribution to the street scene and are considered a rarity in East Somerset.
