Description

Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1637, but it was remodeled in the 18th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from local stone coursed rubble and features a plain clay tile roof over stone slate base courses, with simple gables and brick end chimney stacks. The building has a U-plan layout and is two storeys high with a three-bay west elevation facing the road. It has 16-pane sash windows in plain openings on both levels, and there is an old casement window high in the south gable. The entrance is located at the rear, near a datestone from 1637. The interior has been significantly altered, and the building is included primarily for its group value.
