Description
The building is a house and post office located on Bristol Road in Rooks Bridge, dating from the late 18th century. It has a rendered and colourwashed exterior with a tiled roof, featuring coped brick verges and two brick chimneys. The structure is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows are two-light casements with glazing bars set in cambered head openings. On the ground floor, there is a cambered head door opening to the right, which has a plank door. Flanking this door are two shallow segmental bow windows, each containing 20 panes and covered by a "Tent" canopy verandah with a zinc roof supported by four wooden posts. To the left, there is another door opening with a six-panelled door, where the top two panels are glazed, and it features a gabled hood supported by scrolled brackets.
