Description
The building is a post office and an attached house, with the house dating from the late 18th century and the post office possibly added in the early 19th century. The house is two storeys high and has a two-cell lobby-entrance plan. It is constructed with a timber frame and roughcast exterior, topped with a plaintiled roof that features a central chimney made of red brick. The house has two-light casement windows from around 1800 and a four-panelled mid-19th century half-glazed entrance door. The post office is slightly lower than the house and has a pair of three-light shop windows from the early 20th century, along with a boarded entrance door. This building is included for its group value.
