Description
The building is a former post office, originally a house, dating from the mid-18th century and altered in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof. The structure has two storeys and an attic, standing on a plinth with rusticated quoins. The hipped roof includes one segmental dormer and chimney stacks on both the left and right sides. On the first floor, there are three sash windows, and to the left, there is a plate glass canted bay window with a half-glazed door set in a rendered surround that has a semi-circular head, all beneath a pentice roof that matches the left-hand window. The building is included for its group value.
