Description

This is a mid-19th century monument dedicated to Ann Elgar Toomer, who died in 1828, as well as the Toomer and Rowson families. It features a square moulded plinth set on two steps, topped with an elliptical vase that is decorated with a Greek key motif. The monument is linked to the nearby Baptist chapel, which was built in 1835, and commemorates notable individuals from Wingham.
