Description
This is a row of cottages dating from the mid-18th century. They are built of red brick with a plain tiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high with an attic, featuring kneelered parapet gables, five raking dormers, and stacks on the left, centre left, centre right and right sides. The windows are metal casements; originally with Gothic tracery, which survives in three dormers and two first-floor windows, and three ground-floor windows. The doors are rib and stud with segmental heads. A projecting hipped wing is located to the left, with a metal casement on each floor, retaining Gothic tracery. There is a rib and stud door to the return elevation and a large traceried metal casement to the street frontage.
