The building is timber-framed and roughcast, topped with a thatched roof that includes three casement dormers from the 18th or 19th century, which are gabled and thatched. There is an axial chimney made of red brick, now plastered, with a sawtooth shaft. The cottage has late 18th or early 19th century casement windows. The entrance door, located at the cross-entry position, is from the early 19th century and has six fielded panels. The interior has not been examined.
