Description

Hunters Lodge is a house dating from the early to mid 17th century. It has one storey and attics, featuring a three-cell plan with a cross-entry. The building is constructed with a timber frame and plaster, topped with a thatched roof that includes two 19th-century gabled casement dormers. There is a red brick axial chimney and 19th-century small paned casements. A thatched open 20th-century entrance porch supported by posts leads to a boarded door. The internal framing is fully exposed and complete but unmoulded, and there are back-to-back open fireplaces.
