Description
The building is a house that has been converted into a post office, likely dating from the early 19th century, with some alterations. It is constructed of red and yellow brick in Flemish bond, featuring a stone plinth and a roof made of stone slate with some Welsh slate. The main part of the building has a double-depth, double-fronted plan and is two storeys high with two windows, arranged symmetrically. The central entrance is a round-headed doorway, accessed by two steps, and has imposts and a keystone within a plain surround. The ground floor features unhorned 12-pane sashed windows with exposed boxes and raised sills, with wedge lintels above. A gable chimney is located on the right side. To the left, there is a lower two-storey extension built in English garden wall bond, which includes a three-light casement window at ground floor and a two-light casement above, topped with a Welsh slate roof. Most of the rear windows have been altered.
