Description

Cross View is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, likely built in the mid-18th century and altered over time. It features white-painted roughcast render, which is probably over brick, with a black-painted plinth. The roof is made of stone slate and there are rendered brick chimneys. The building has a double-depth, double-fronted layout, standing two storeys high with two symmetrical windows. The central doorway has an altered door and is sheltered by a 20th-century wooden porch. On each floor, there are two altered two-light casements, and the building has gable chimneys. Cross View is part of a group that includes The Gables to the left and The Cottage and Lynley Cottage to the right.
