Description
Yew Tree Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse located on the south side of Bristol Road in Tarnock. The building features a rubble plinth and is constructed of brick with a triple Roman tile roof, complemented by two end brick ridge stacks. It has a symmetrical design with two storeys and an attic, consisting of three bays. The windows are 2-light casements with horizontal glazing bars and reveals that have slightly cambered heads with rubbed brick voussoirs, along with decorative shutters. A plain projecting brick band runs along the first floor level above a central door opening, which contains a six-panelled door topped by a 20th-century gabled hood with a tile roof, supported by two slender wooden posts. To the left, there is a single-storey rubble outshut with three bays and 3-light casements. Interior window shutters are present on the right side of the ground floor.
