Description

  1. STAPLEGROVE ROAD 5365 (North-East Side) Nos 86 to 90 (even) ST 2225 6/381 II GV 2. Substantial U-shaped house with main front facing south and 2 wings running to rear. Mid C19, and probably earlier. 2 storeys. Roughcast and colourwashed. Parapet with dentil eaves cornice (missing to left). Banded quoins. 6 windows with moulded architrave surrounds. Mostly 3 lights each with casements. 2 storey extension with porch in centre of No 88. Later bays to ground floor windows. Other entrances in side wings.

Nos 86 to 90 (even), the Summerhouse at Language Centre The Cottage and the Swiss Cottage in Linden Grove form a group together with Weir House, Weir Lodge and Gatepiers.
