3/117 Range of farm buildings, about 10 metres North of Whitefield House -

GV II

Barn and animal shed. Early C19. Red sandstone random rubble, slate roof, set into the hillside. Animal shed: single storey, 8 round headed arched openings with single bay return right. Attached left to 2 storey building, round headed opening at first floor with external flight of steps, store at ground floor level, main entrance to barn on rear elevation, which is single storey because of sloping ground. Forming an attractive backdrop to Whitefield House (q.v.).
