Description
Deepleigh is an inn that has been converted into a hotel. It dates from the 17th century and was altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of rendered cob with a slate roof that is half hipped to the left, featuring a central brick stack. It has three and two storeys under the same roof, with a layout of two bays on the left and one bay on the right. The left side has 20th-century cross windows, while the others have 20th-century casements. On the ground floor to the right, there are three windows with relieving arches, and to the right of a modern glazed porch with a gabled slate roof, there is a 19th-century three-light casement. The left return elevation facing the road has three storeys with 20th-century windows and a door. At the rear, there is an outshut. Inside, there are chamfered beams and a stud and panel partition on the ground floor to the right, which has been moved one bay to the east.
