Description

A range of farm buildings dating to the early 19th century stands immediately to the south-east and south of Westhay Farmhouse. The buildings are constructed of stone rubble with red brick dressings. The roof is covered with corrugated iron, asbestos, and some tiles, featuring a half-hipped end. The ground floor includes segmental brick arch cattle sheds, some of which are partially blocked, with keystones above doorways leading to hay lofts. A three-bay implement shed with similarly arched openings is situated on the south-west side, supported by circular stone piers. A tall cartway on the north-east side is defined by a segmental arch. A stable range is located on the north side. The buildings are included in the listing for their group value.
