Description

This is an early 19th-century detached house situated within a garden setting. The house is constructed of red brick with a low-pitched hipped slate roof, overhanging eaves, and a moulded stone cornice. It has two storeys and three bays. The windows have flat arches with ashlar voussoirs and are sash windows, with the first floor windows featuring glazing bars. A central double recessed round-arched doorway is topped with a semi-circular fanlight containing radiating glazing bars, and is enclosed within a large 19th and 20th-century red brick porch. The west elevation features three bays, with the right-hand bay blind and a 20th-century brick bay on the left ground floor. A rear service wing, built of rendered stone rubble, extends to the north-east.
