3/53 Village Cross adjacent to entrance of and in Churchyard, Church of St. Mary 22.11.66 GV II*

Village Cross. C15. Repaired 1979. Dressed stone. Base composed of 2 square steps, the lower benched with a dripmould and splayed set-off. Large square socket, the upper face octagonal with broad convex broaches; tapering octagonal shaft capped by the base of the calvary; C19 finial cross. Cross formerly stood on the roadside, moved to present position early C19. (Pooley, Old Crosses of Somerset, 1877).
