Description

The village cross in Washingborough dates from the 15th century and was restored in the late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble and ashlar. The structure features a square base that is elevated by four diminishing square steps. At the top, there is a base with moulded and chamfered corners, which supports a tall moulded cross from the late 19th century.
