Description

No. 8 High Street is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, which is now painted, and features a concrete tile roof with a single ridge and a single gable brick stack. The house is two storeys high. The front of the building has an off-centre doorway, flanked by a single cross casement window, with a smaller cross casement to the left and a sliding sash window to the right. There are also two, two-light casements and another sliding sash window. On the upper floor, there is a two-light casement to the left and four, two-light sliding sash windows.
