Description

The Post Office is a late 18th-century building, originally comprising two houses and a shop, with alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with pantile roofing and three gable stacks of red brick. The building is two storeys high. The right-hand side features a glazed entrance door with a small wall-mounted post box, alongside a shop window with glazing bars. Further along is a four-panel door, followed by a three-light casement window, a 20th-century door, and a sash window with glazing bars. The upper floor has four sash windows with glazing bars, each with painted stone wedge lintels.
