Description

No 9 High Street is an early 18th-century cottage constructed from coursed limestone rubble, which is now painted. It features a pantile roof and two red brick gable stacks, along with brick dentilated eaves. The cottage is a single storey with a two-bay street front that includes two small, two-light sliding sash windows. The north gable front has a two-light sliding sash window and a 20th-century glazed door, with a small two-light sliding sash window above, all fitted with wooden lintels. Inside, the cottage has chamfered spine beams.
