Description

Milestone. Probably C18.

MATERIALS: Hamstone with cast-iron plate.

DESCRIPTION: stone slab on the north side of the road (A30). It is painted white and has a shouldered, triangular top. The plate to the south face has a shouldered, curved top, and is inscribed: 'II YEOVIL'.
