Description

This is a mid-19th century shop located on West Street in Ilminster. The building is faced with incised stucco and has a pantile roof. It follows a double-depth plan and presents a single-window front. The right-hand side features a 20th-century door with an overlight. A mid-19th century shop front is present, incorporating panelled pilasters, and a two-light plate-glass window with a moulded fascia. The fascia supports a canted oriel with a single-pane sash window. The interior of the property has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its group value.
