Haywood monument in churchyard 3 metres south-east of porch, Church of St Andrew

GV II

Chest tomb, C17. Doulting stone. Base buried; flanks have 2 semi-circular arched panels between reeded pilasters with ovals to each panel - latching single panel each end with fleur-de-lys decoration; inscription to frieze, moulded hipped top: commemorates - Hayward and his wife, dates readable are 1617 and 1663, the latter probably date of tomb.
