Description

The Hayward Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 10 meters north of the north-east corner of the north aisle of the Church of St. Bartholomew. It dates from around 1805 and features an ashlar moulded base and cornice, along with a fluted frieze. The sides are made of Pennant stone, and the north side bears an inscription commemorating J. Hayward, who died in 1804.
