Description
The monument to William Hayward is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, adjacent to the south of the Church of St. James The Less. It is dated 1679 and is made of dressed stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and an oblong chest with a massive slab top that has a cavetto moulded lower edge. An inscription can be found on the south side of the tomb.
