Description
The gatepiers at the east end of Church Street date from the mid-19th century. They consist of four short ashlar panelled piers topped with pyramid caps and raised gatestops. In the center, there are wooden double gates, with single pedestrian gates on each side. The central piers previously featured tall iron lamp stands.
