Description

Edgarley Lodge is a large house located on Edgarley Road, dating from the 18th century with a front that faces west. The building has been altered and features 19th-century additions. It stands two storeys tall, constructed of ashlar stone with the right side rendered. The left side has a cornice and parapet, while the right side features a gable end with bargeboards. The roof is covered with slate and there are brick chimney stacks. The house has four windows, including a small 19th-century splayed bay with three lights on the first floor. The windows are sashes with central glazing bars. On the ground floor to the left, there are lean-to conservatories, and to the right, there is a verandah with trelliswork and slate roofs.
