Description

Little St Michael Vine Cottage, located on Chilkwell Street, is likely from the late 17th century or early 18th century. The building features two storeys on the left and two storeys plus attics on the right, constructed from coursed rubble and ashlar. It has pantile roofs and three dormers on No 89. There are six windows with wood casements, each having two lights and glazing bars. No 87 includes a bay window with three lights on the ground floor and has a plain wooden door to the right, while No 89 features a wooden stable door. Together with The Chalice Well and Tor Schoolhouse, Nos 87 and 89 form an important group.
