SD 66 NW WRAY-WITH-BOTTON MAIN STREET (west side)

2/154 Nos.90 (Dale End Cottage) 91 and 92 4-10-1967 GV II

Row of houses, originally house and farm buildings, 1691, altered. Sandstone rubble with tile roof. 2 storeys. Original windows rebated and chamfered with mullions. No.91 is of 2 bays and has 1st floor windows of 2 and 3 lights. The ground-floor windows are sashed with glazing bars and plain stone surrounds. Above them is a drip course which terminates beyond the door to No.90, at the right. The door to No.91, between bays, has a moulded surround with shaped lintel inscribed: '1691 IS'. No.90 has 2 1st floor windows with mullions removed. On the ground floor it has 2 windows set within doorways with chamfered surrounds. The door, at the left, has plain reveals and is partly within an original window surround. No.92, at the left, has a window with stone surround. Above is a similar window. To the right on the 1st floor is a window with rebated and chamfered surround. Below are 2 doors with plain reveals set within a blocked wide entrance with segmental arch. At the left is a blocked doorway. Chimneys on gables and to left of No.91.
