Description

Thistle House is an early to mid-19th century house located on the west side of Main Street, Wray-with-Botton. The house is constructed of squared sandstone rubble with a slate roof and follows a double-depth plan. It is two storeys high with an attic and has three bays. Chamfered quoins mark the corners. The windows are sash windows with plain stone surrounds. Gable chimneys are present. The entrance door, positioned in the middle bay, has a stone surround with jambs treated as pilasters.
