Description

Edgarley Farmhouse is a stone farmhouse, likely built in the early 17th century. It has two storeys and features masonry arranged in alternating deep and shallow courses. The roof is made of pantiles and has parapets at the gable ends, which are supported by kneelers. The building has three windows, which are sashes with marginal glazing bars. The gable ends also have two-light stone mullioned windows that include hoodmoulds. The entrance features a doorway with a hood supported on brackets and a lean-to tiled roof, leading to a half-glazed modern door. The walls on either side of the entrance to the farmyard are made of stone slabs set on end.
