Description
Dowlands Farmhouse is a stone farmhouse dated 1847. It has an ashlar front and a slate roof with stone coping to the gable ends, featuring shaped kneelers. The house is two storeys and an attic, with four bays and a slightly projecting gabled cross wing to the right. The windows are stone mullion windows with three and four lights, and dripmoulds. A gabled stone porch has a four-centred arch doorway with a dripmould and a datestone inscribed “1847”. The chimney stacks are rendered and located on the ridge and ends of the building.
