Description

This milestone, located at the National Grid Reference ST 0027 4315, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of limestone and cast iron, featuring a monolithic slab with a cambered head. There is an attached plaque with a central semi-circular head, which is inscribed in incised lettering that reads: '3 miles to Minehead'.
