14/17 Milestone at NGR SS 9160 3765 II Milestone. Early C19, reset C20. Possibly sandstone and cast iron. Unusually tall cambered head stone, about one metre high set with cast iron plaque semi-circular central section to head, incised lettering: '10 miles to Minehead'. The road was turnpiked in 1824.
