Description

Elm Cottage is a house dating from the early 19th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork, a tiled roof with coped verges, and end brick stacks. The building has a symmetrical frontage with two storeys and three bays, which include 16-pane sash windows with rubbed brick voussoirs. The door opening is located on the right side and has a six-panelled door topped by a 20th-century wooden hood supported by two wooden posts. The front is adorned with decorative railings set on a brick plinth, featuring wrought-iron rails with spear caps and paired gates on the right that match the style of the railings.
