Description
Ivyclad Hall is a country house built in the late 18th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork, a moulded cornice, and coping with a plain parapet, topped by a triple-roman tile roof. The building has two box dormers and coped verges, with brick end stacks. Its symmetrical frontage consists of two storeys and an attic, with two bays. On either side of the central door opening, there are two storey three-light canted bays, each with a twelve-pane sash window in each light. The first floor has a central window with a semi-circular head, which is a sash window with glazing bars arranged in a radiating pattern at the top. All window openings are accented with rubbed brick voussoirs. The door opening is in a semi-circular headed surround and features a six-panelled door, with the top two panels glazed. Above the door is a fanlight with radiating glazing bars, set within a stone doorcase that has an open triangular pediment supported by Ionic half-columns.
