Description

Midelney Bridge, located on the road to Midelney Manor over the former Westport Canal, was built in 1836. It is constructed of Lias ashlar with Hamstone dressings. The bridge features a single broad elliptical archway with abutments on each side. There is a parapet with coping on both sides of the carriageway, which rises over the apex of the bridge.
