Description
The bridge over the former Westport Canal, built in the early 19th century, is constructed from coursed and squared lias stone with Ham stone dressings. It features a broad segmental archway with stepped voussoirs and an ashlar rim beneath the arch. There is a projecting band at carriageway level, and the parapets include openings. The carriageway rises slightly as it crosses the bridge.
