Description
The Laurels is a house built in the early 19th century, constructed from coursed and squared lias with a slate roof and coped verges. It features a later brick stack and is designed in the Tudor-Gothic style. The building has two storeys and two bays, with 2-light casements on the first floor that have ornamental glazing bars set in freestone surrounds, complete with labels and small gablets above. The central door opening contains paired panelled doors and is framed by an ornamental stone porch featuring a 4-centred arch outer door opening. Above this, there is a small panel displaying Gothic text.
