Description
Half Thatch is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble and features both single-Roman pantiled and thatched roofs, along with brick stacks. The building is a single storey with an attic and has three bays. It includes 19th-century casement windows, with two and three lights, and the first-floor windows are set in single-pitched half-dormers. There is a central door opening with a plank door, and a 19th-century gabled trellis porch that has a double-Roman tiled roof. To the left, there is a lower height thatched outshut featuring a three-light leaded casement, and to the right, there is another outshut with a pair of half-glazed French windows.
