Description

The Glebe is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared rubble, with some rough plaster on the returns, and features a thatched roof and brick stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. The ground floor is adorned with two, three, and four-light moulded stone-mullioned windows that have leaded lights and labels. The first floor has 20th-century three-light casements, also with leaded lights. A central doorway is framed by a moulded four-centre headed surround, featuring ornamental spandrels, and is fitted with a studded plank door that has iron strap hinges.
