Description

Norse Cottage is a house dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries, with significant alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared rubble, with a double-Roman tile roof, a crested ridge, and brick stacks. The house has two storeys and five bays, featuring 2- and 3-light casement windows. A door opening is fitted with a 20th-century ribbed door. The interior, although modernised, retains a shouldered 4-centred head door opening to the ground floor, chamfered ceiling beams, and a cruck-built roof.
