Wall, gate piers, gates and railings. Mid C19. Ham Hill stone ashlar wall and gate piers, wrought-iron gates and railings. Tall gate piers to the left with stepped pyramidal caps support elaborate double gates. The central horizontal rail has alternate pierced quatrefoils and quincunx, below it are ornamented S scrolls between the straight verticals and resting on it are single ornamented scrolls. Each gate has an inverted semi-circle to the upper half below a row of palmette-type motifs, and large ornamented S scrolls to the top, higher toward the centre. The piers to the service entrance gates to the right are plain, with pyramidal caps; the double gates have long/short rails, and a central horizontal rail of 4 fluers-de-lys in circles. Between these are approx 10m of plinth-type wall which has sloping ashlar top on slabs arranged in a herring-bone; the railings are low with scroll tops above a horizontal rail.
