Description
The property comprises gate piers and railings, dating from circa 1840-1860. Constructed from cast iron, the structure features two hollow gate piers built from large railings with bulbous bases and capped vase finials. Double gates are formed from arrowhead railings. Decorative spearhead railings extend approximately 10 metres to the left. These railings, gates and piers front onto Pittville Lawn, north of the main house, and contribute significantly to the streetscape surrounding Pittville Park, possessing good group value with the adjacent property.
