CROSCOMBE CP HURCH STREET (West side) The Old Grammar School

GII (Marked on OS map as Surgery), School, now house.Late C18/early C19. Roughcast, slate roof, coped verges, single ashlar and two brick stacks.Three storeys; symmetrical frontage to Church Street of two bays, nine and twelve-pane sash windows, of decreasing height, in stone architraves. Door opening to left return; five-panelled door in a similary moulded stone architrave, triangular pediment over; adjacent to right a twelve-pane sash window; similar sash window to centre of first floor.
