Description
Mill House and Mill View are two houses forming part of a row, with later 18th-century features but incorporating earlier cores. Mill View is marked on Ordnance Survey tithe maps as Penrhyn. Mill House is constructed of random rubble and has coped verges and three brick stacks, with pantile roofs. The two--storey, three-by-two bay facade has 12-pane sash windows; those on the left are virtually flush mounted, while those on the right are set in plain dressed stone surrounds. There is a door opening in the centre of the left three bays, with a six-panelled door and transom light, and a door opening to the right of the right two bays, featuring a four-panelled door in a dressed stone surround. A Victoria Architectural Group report from February 3, 1977, provides further details.
