Description
Mill House, located on the east side of Tocketts Mill, is an early 19th-century house that adjoins the mill. It is constructed of chevron dressed sandstone and features a Welsh slate roof with stone ridge and gable copings. The building has two brick stacks and consists of two sections, with the right-hand part being slightly later. The house is two storeys high and has three sash windows with glazing bars on each floor. The entrance includes a 20th-century part-glazed door set within a late 19th-century timber doorcase, which has panelled reveals and a pilaster-and-entablature surround. The rear (north) elevation features Yorkshire sashes with glazing bars.
